For tomorrow's class,

Answer the following questions from your classmates:

1.  Why did Circe help Odysseus?
2. Why did Hermes give Odysseus Moly?

Read about book 11 (The blue part) on page 928
Read the assignment I handed out in class.  Come with your questions ready.

April 17th

Today's class was an absolute disappointment because of how many of you didn't do your reading.  I asked for you all to pre-read book 10 which only 4 of you did.  This is not acceptable!  I'm going to have a quiz on book 10 Thursday!

There are only 2.5 months left, now is not the time for summer vacation!

April 14th

For Monday - Complete Book 9 and pre-read book 10 in the Odyssey.

We will begin reading Romeo and Juliet on Monday!  Be prepared to act out scenes!

April 11th

Due this Friday,

Re-do the quiz with the correct answers.

Make sure you have read up until page 900.  Get ready to discuss in groups as to what has happened in the story!

April 7th

Study the concepts you wrote today in class.  These are the main concepts you will be responsible for Monday because you will have a quiz.

Also read the first 3 pages of 'The Odyssey' and read Romeo and Juliet to page 6.
